Meet Me at the Fair. And the Waterfall.

On Friday evening, we went to the Davis County Fair. It was...interesting. And by interesting, I mean lame. It was basically a ton of booths and 4 rides. I was hoping there would be a ride we could take Reagan on, but there weren't really any for little kids. We did take her through the fun house, and then called it quits early.
Oh, and we danced a little to the local country band's covers.
Saturday afternoon, we decided to try out one the hikes close to our house. We went up Adam's Canyon. The first half mile was hot, sandy, and steep, but after that it got a lot better.
Reagan didn't love being carried on Lance's back.
The waterfall at the end was small but beautiful and Reagan loved playing in the water.
The view before the end. The air here has been nasty lately. Thanks forest fires.
Pants on the wrong end :)

Pics cause it happened

Cousin time

 Pioneer Day fireworks

A small sampling of the bountiful harvest from our garden. A pen in the middle for comparison.

Ward campout. Reagan's first roasted mallow.
 Big hit!

 The view from our tent.
It was a long and restless night for some of us. Mostly for those of us that had a baby that only wanted to sleep on our face. (Me.)
 Drinking milk in a field.
"Let me show you the right way to put a tent away."

Walking a mile in her mother's shoes.
I couldn't believe she could walk in these! Just adding fuel to the fire that is her shoe obsession.

And just because. Love those piggy tails.
