11 months- almost there!

Daryn has been a busy little bee the past months. She is progressing so quickly and right on schedule! Although her main form of transportation is still crawling and she's gotten quite good at it (see below), she now pulls up to stand is starting to cruise and take steps along the furniture!

She loves standing but gets herself in some funny positions thanks to her hips, legs, and feet.

Her relationship with Reagan is starting to get really solid and they love playing together.

Her hair is finally starting to come in and she's not such a baldy anymore.
She is starting to really enjoy being outdoors more.

And she sleeps like a rock. Most of the time.
Other than her mobility, not too much has changed. She likes taking things out of boxes and putting them back in. She is starting to climb stairs. Her favorite noise are growling, clucking, and saying "mamama" and "yahyahyah".  She is the sweetest heart around.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with lots of family and friends! On Saturday, the girls got all dressed up in their matching outfits courtesy of Mumsy.

After naps, it was time for an egg hunt with the cousins!
Daryn's eggs were filled with yogurt bites. Although, now we suspect she might be lactose intolerant, so in retrospect maybe that wasn't the best idea.

I have no idea why we are so grumpy in this picture. Apparently something was very concerning.

Then it was time to color eggs. It was so fun to have lots of Genevieve's family celebrate with us!
Then a yummy dinner and off to bed so the Easter Bunny could come! Reagan woke up bright and early, excited to look for her basket. She found it quickly, with a little help.
Frozen and the playdo were the favorites.
Daryn was not far behind and made a beeline for hers.
Then we all got quickly ready for church. Lance got released from his very time-consuming calling and since winter was over, we were ready to let Reagan go to nursery. So for the first time in a very long time, we all went to church together and stayed the whole time! It was wonderful to be there, especially on Easter. What an incredible blessing the Resurrection is. It means even more to us now that we have a daughter with a very imperfect body. It gives us such comfort to know she will one day be made whole. We are so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ.

After church and naps, we went over to Stuart and Gen's for dinner. Lots of food and fun, for the most part!
Daryn had a little issue when she finished her food pouch and thought Daddy was taking it away.
 She was outraged.
And shocked. "Did you see that, Mom?"
 Oh look a camera.
There was a rousing round of the fishing game to finish the night off.
A wonderful way to spend a holiday.

Easter Pictures

Genevieve and I decided to get the families and go to Temple Square a couple days before Easter to get some cute pics. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly, and things looked a lot like this:
But awesome photographer that she is, Gen still managed to get some beautiful shots.
Daryn's face in one those last two cracks me up. She looks like the grumpy NO cat.

Thanks for the gorgeous pics, Genevieve!
