Our Tribute to Pioneer Day

If you can't tell, those are cowboy boots on her little dress. More western than pioneer, but it's the closest we had.

My baby is one month old??

I can't believe it! This past month has just been a whirlwind. I feel like Reagan is growing up so fast already- make it slow down! At the same time, I can't wait for her to get a little bigger so we can play with her! Here are some pics from the past week:
Her fancy little newborn dress!
Marissa!!! You're finally here!!!!!

What a cute little darling angel :)
In other news, she slept over 6 hours the past two nights! We are almost at the point of sleeping through the night! I'm excited. Also, when I weighed her after her bath yesterday, she was at a whopping 9.1 lbs. Little chunky monkey! She's outgrown almost all her newborn clothes already. And I'm almost positive she had a growth spurt start today, because instead of her 3 hour eat, waketime, sleep schedule that she normally does great with, she has been eating every 2.5 hours or less. Hopefully it will only last a couple days!

Reagan's Baby Blessing

Today Lance blessed baby Reagan at church. It went so well. Reagan behaved perfectly and slept through the whole thing (since she was up all last night...) and Lance gave a beautiful blessing. The only glitch was when they announced from the pulpit that Lance would be blessing our baby son, Reagan Lance. It was awkward.... Apparently I have inadvertently set my child up for a life of gender confusion :(. Anyway, Reagan wore a beautiful little white dress that we bought for the occasion. We were so glad to have so many of our family and friends there to participate in the blessing. We are so grateful for our sweetest baby girl.
Too many pictures!

2 weeks

My baby has been described as "ideal", "model", and now "perfect"- and not just by me! That is the professional opinion of 3 separate doctors. We took Reagan into the Health Center for her two week check up on Tuesday. She gained a whopping 8 oz in the past 8 days, and was up to 7 lbs 12! She was also back to her birth length of 20 inches (minus her giant conehead at birth). She fell just below the the 50th percentile in weight, height, and head circumference. As Lance puts it, our daughter is slightly below average. That's ok with me- height and weight are not areas where I want her at the top! And she is perfectly healthy in every way. She's just a petite little girl but she is growing so fast!
Sometimes I let her sleep in my bed when I want to cuddle her :)

4th of July!

Boy have we been busy the past couple weeks! We've been having a great time with all of our family in town and Reagan has been having quite a few adventures! Here's a quick update:
Reagan and Eve meet!

We had a wonderful 4th of July. On Saturday night we when to the park with Jamie and Darci to watch the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire. Reagan wasn't too impressed. I don't think she had good enough vision to see them and the noise was loud enough that it kept her from sleeping. She loved her first stroller ride though!
On Monday we had a back-to-back bbq, first going to to my aunt and uncle's here in Provo and then heading up to Park City to eat more and set off some firecrackers with Lance's family. Overall, a great day.
The rest of the week was pretty much taken up by my family reunion. We've driven up to Midway a few times to join in the food and eat some good food. Sharon also threw a shower for me and another cousin. She did such an awesome job- it was above and beyond! Of course, I was having so much fun that I didn't take a single picture. We got lots of cute clothes and diapers from the family- we are so grateful!
Reagan is having so many new experiences. Her cord fell off when she was just one week old, so she gets to take real baths (instead of sponge ones). At first she hated it, but yesterday she didn't cry at all! What a big girl :) She is still sleeping great at night, although we are still working on the naptimes during the day part. I am trying hard to get a good feeding-waketime-naptime schedule down. We just love our baby girl so much! I am so glad she's finally here! I think she is the most adorable thing in the whole world.

We're Excited!

We've got so much family coming into town this weekend. Reagan was so excited, she wanted to get all dressed up for the occasion! She is so excited to meet her grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins!

Yes, Reagan? Do you have a question?
