Fathers Day

We had the greatest Fathers' Day weekend this year. Well, mostly. I had lots of fun things planned. Lance's brother and his came into town and visited for a few hours on Friday, and shortly after they left my parents arrived for a quick weekend trip for my cousin's wedding. Just before they got in, Daryn started having some serious problems urinating and Lance ended up taking her to the Primary Childrens ER later that evening. She had a blockage that wouldn't let pee out. Thankfully, they got it fixed and they were only there for a short overnight stay. They came home the next morning and things were back on track! After some grandparent snuggles, we were ready to go!

First stop: Top Golf. It was our first time there and we loved it. Like bowling, but on a driving range. Lance was happy to teach us all how to hit.

Blade was happy to observe from his seat (and poop all over it).
We ate lunch there and then checked out the fishing at Farmington Pond. Not too shabby since Lance caught 2 trout!

After that was shopping at Farmington Station- Lance got some new, badly-needed shorts. Shopping with 4 kids is like...:

Then it was dinner at Zupas and a quick race home to clean up before my cousin's wedding reception.  Per usual, the girls danced the night away.
Lance was a good sport, even though he was completely exhausted by this point. (Not much sleep in a hospital).

We had the greatest time celebrating the most wonderful daddy ever. We love him so much!

I got to speak in church on Fathers' Day so things were a little hectic that morning getting everyone ready. Luckily my parents were there to help with the kids during church and I got to enjoy the peace and quiet up on the stand.

Ok really they are the cutest ever. Wearing one of Daddy's outfits, from the bowtie to the shoes.

Best. Daddy. Ever.

I love my mini-Lance. I hope he turns out just like him!

We ended with a yummy steak (and trout) dinner, topped of with a delicious lemon meringue pie that my dad graciously made on Friday night. Perfection!
