Can't Keep Her Down

Daryn had surgery #4 on March 2nd. After her pelvic closure surgery in November, her bladder prolapsed out, so they had to do another surgery to put it back in, and make the opening tighter. It was about a 3 hour surgery Monday morning.

Me and this sweetie pie got to hang out for a while while we waited at the hospital.

Cutest little hospital gown ever.

Drugged up and ready to go.

Getting to hold her after. She guzzled the water!
In our room a little while later.

Taking it easy.
 But not for long!
Seriously, by the next morning, Daryn was raring to go. She was so mad that I kept her trapped in her crib and wouldn't let her run around. We were discharged late that afternoon.
And had to drive home in this, unfortunately.

She was supposed to get lots of rest at home, but she would have none of that. She was climbing on the couches and bouncing off the walls and pretty much back to normal after day 3, other than pain meds for about a week. 3 weeks later, she's pretty much all healed up! So resilient.
