Summertime family time

We've really enjoyed life getting back to normal recently and spending lots of time together. 

We had ice cream cones one night and I made a baby one for Blade and it was the cutest thing ever.

It took him a full 15 minutes to eat it.

Maddie Joy's moods swing back and forth as quickly as her name.

I told you he was obsessed with headbands.

Lots of doctors appointments for Daryn but at least she got to draw on the whiteboard!

We love when Grandma is here!

The girls have been begging and finally had a chance to use their easy bake oven.

It was a huge hit!

Shades and picnics for all.

Daryn got this stuffed animal that makes 5 different noises when petted in different ways from one of Lance's clients. It's kind of obnoxious but she loves it. She appropriately named it Noisy.

We left Blade with Gigi for an evening and went to the Rush funplex, where they have tons of cool activities. 

Bowling was one of the favorites.

Reagan even scored a spare once with no bumpers!

Watching Lance climb this rope was my new favorite thing. He is so strong!

We had the best evening until Daryn flipped out that the laser tag vest was too big and wouldn't stop crying for the whole activity. 

Sadly, she lost her icee (don't worry, we shared ours).

And Blade had a blast getting some one-on-one time.

Reagan got her cast off! So nice that she only had to wear it for 3 weeks. 

 Blade loves monkeying around.

He does not, however, like his pool floatie. 

First trip of the summer! We hit the pool and the splash pad in the same day (while the older girls were in tennis lessons). 

Seriously please stop being so cute. It's not fair!

The perfect way to cool off. 

Reagan came running in the other day telling me her sister were playing in the firepit charcoal. I had to grab a picture before they spent awhile scrubbing it off. 

Yesterday we had a huge thunder and rainstorm come out of nowhere. We were eating out and got soaked running back to our car. When we got home, we figured we might as well let the kids go nuts before bathtime. 

It was magical for them. (Not so much for me but...)
