Dixie is 5 months old! She is just the most delightful roly poly baby ever. We're all obsessed! We can't get enough of her drooly, gummy grins, but luckily she has plenty to go around.
She also gets confused a lot and looks at Lance like she's never seen him before. Every day.
She rolls all over the place, front and back, so we weaned her from her swaddle and she squirms all over her crib and gets herself in all kinds of jams. Most of the time she sleeps on her tummy now. She sleeps 11-12 hours every night. She fusses some during the night but usually puts herself back to sleep. She loves her naps and naps hard for around 2 hours, 3 times a day.
She's learning to sit! Not quite able to do it on her own yet but she's making progress. And proud of it!

At 5 months, she wears 6-9 month clothes and size 2 diapers. She weighs 15 lbs 4 oz, which is 50th percentile in weight exactly. She loves snuggling and playing with or watching her siblings. She doesn't mind when the squeeze or kiss or haul her around. She handles the chaos pretty well! She loves her playmats and her bumbo and her jumper and her carseat. Baths are hit and miss.
The girls decided they wanted to throw a party for her 5 months. (Can you tell we're getting bored?). They made a tiny cake in the easy bake oven and we all got a bite.
They also all mad presents for her. She likes chewing on Daryn's fabric roll a lot. And her foot.
Her absolute favorite thing is sucking on her fingers. She gets them like this every time. Binkies are ok, but you really can't beat those middle fingers! (Apparently).
She's growing way too fast!
