We feel so blessed that while we live here in Utah, we have been able to go to so many temple open houses. It is such a special experience, especially for our girls who are so curious about temples! We had a wonderful time touring the newly completed Provo City Center Temple, that used to be the Provo Tabernacle, with Meagan and Grace.
Even though we had to wait in the cold for about an hour, the girls kept their good attitudes and were very respectful in the temple, although they did want to touch everything. We came out right at dusk and were able to grab some quick pictures and catch a beautiful sunset. What a reminder of the love Heavenly Father has for us!
Lance and I can't wait for the chance to be able to go back and serve in the temple when it's open.
On another note, the next day was the Super Bowl, and since the Broncos were playing, we had to watch. Meagan and Grace agreed to come hang out, even though I don't think they were too interested in the game :). That's ok, there was lots of yummy food!
Best aunt award.
These girls quickly moved on to playing dress up when they realized the game was not exactly captivating for them.
Although as the night wore on, they were happy to just sit and munch chips, guacamole, and salsa and help us cheer the Broncos to victory. A great game!
