January...fun...

We are all pretty tired of the cold, but we're making the best of it. Lots of indoor shenanigans happening!

Reagan was full of encouragement for Daryn in this particular venture.

Indoor sports day with the cousins!

Lots of doctors appointments (4 last month), but this time, Daryn got play-do! She made a "pancake".

They love Music and the Spoken Word. One of the best parts of my Sundays.

Somehow our throw pillows never make it to the bed, and instead are perpetually part of a fort on the floor in our room.

Daryn loves to stand on laundry baskets and peek over the wall now. She is getting so big!

One afternoon I drove down to Provo to spend a few hours with Marissa, Becca, and Annie. We each have 2 kids now, and things got a little crazy!

 Major selfie.

What a bunch of adorable little hooligans!
Love these girls! Wish I could see them more!

Of course, we couldn't let January pass without a visit to the Ice Castle in Midway with Meagan and Grace. Somehow, I never dress warm enough, and it was so very cold.

Waiting at the top of the ice slide for our turn.
So beautiful and clear! And cold!
The big slide was a huge hit with the girls, but you had to wait in line.

So they opted mostly for a lot of rides on the little slide.

Although Lance did take Daryn down once with him, and with his dress pants, they zoomed!!
The castle was so beautiful! I loved all the tunnels.
Olaf!

By the time we were about completely numb, we got some hot cocoa to warm up.
We stayed long enough to see it dark and lit up, and then hurried back to the warmth of our cars. Brrr!

One night when I was too tired to make dinner, we went to IHOP. Daryn entertained herself while we waiting by being a puppy.
And there was some intense focused coloring.

Sunday morning, I came out from doing my hair to see the girls keeping busy. It never gets old. Apparently :).

30 weeks on February 1st! 10 more weeks to go and feeling pretty good! Most of the time.

Gymnastics,
 snuggles,
smiles, and eating. How else to make it through winter?
Bring on the warmer weather before we go crazy from being stuck inside!
