For the last couple weeks before my due date, we were all waiting anxiously on edge for Baby to come. We kept busy with lots of family activities and outings. I turned 27 and we celebrated at Cheesecake Factory with Meagan and Grace. Lance spoiled me and it was a wonderful day.
The girls finished up swim lessons.
We watched General Conference.
And we played carseat Tetris. Daryn was so excited to be facing forward!
We had one last girls' night with just the 3 of us while Lance watched Priesthood session.
With the beautiful weather the next week, we had to get out of the house. We went to Station Park one evening and had a wonderful time playing in the sun and eating yummy food.
Later that week the girls and I met Lance in Salt Lake in the afternoon. We ate at Lion House on Temple Square and walked around enjoying the beautiful flowers before driving over to Cross E Ranch for Baby Animal Days!
It was a big hit and the girls loved it.
They had crafts and corn bins.
And bunnies.
And baby bunnies!
And chicks!
And pigs and goats and llamas.
And hay mazes and hay rides.
And some cute signs!
I was sure all that walking around would put me into labor (39.5 weeks) but no such luck. We still had to wait a few more days! But we were very glad to have some quality family time with just the 4 of us before everything changed.
