The girls had the cutest Easter dresses this year, so while my mom was here we decided to go take some pictures with the flowers at Temple Square. These girls are so darling, it kills me!
So much love.
Proof I was there:
I can't believe how big and gorgeous they are getting! And they were so sweet and patient with my picture taking, even though it was a little chilly.
My mom left on Friday night, and Saturday we got busy with garden planting and Easter activities. We tried a new method of dying eggs this year, where you put food coloring in cool whip and roll the egg in it. It worked pretty well, and was definitely easier and less messy than the traditional method!
And of course, an Easter egg hunt! We were so lucky the weekend was beautiful and warm, since it's been rainy and snowy this week.
Lance and I got to go see a movie Saturday night after the Women's Conference (last date before baby?) and we went to bed exhausted after such a busy day. Luckily Lance did not have early church meetings since it was Easter and we were able to have a nice quiet morning together at home before church. The girls woke up early to see if the Easter Bunny came, but first they wanted to put on their new bunny headbands from Grace.
With a little searching, they soon found their baskets!
They were very excited about their new swim goggles, among other things.
Later that morning, Lance made deviled eggs and we showed the girls how to do an egg war.
Easter curls!
Love these beautiful girls so so much!!
And these pictures kill me. Sooo funny. What is going on with Reagan???
And yes, I was there too, but these are the only pictures, courtesy of Reagan and Daryn.
We got home and had a lovely quiet Easter dinner and were able to spend some time reflecting on the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus and what that means for us personally. What a blessing!
