We had a fantastic 4th in New Mexico. Joy put together a program with the kids and they performed admirably and adorably. But first, we had some sweet little Miss Americas for church on Sunday.

After some swimming and a delicious steak dinner,
it was showtime!
Lots of marching, singing, reciting, and dancing!
After they finished, we went over to the neighbors who were too sick to make it and the kids did an abbreviated program for them. Even cuter the second time around! Especially since it was in the shade.
Grandmas are the best ever!
And cousins are pretty great too.
We finished the night off with yummy pie and some poppers (the closest thing to fireworks we could do). Happy birthday, America!
