We stayed busy all month long with lots of winter fun.
One day it was cold and snowy and we happened to not have school and so we stayed in and painted.
We took a trip to the mall to check out the new aquarium. Super cool and very hands-on!
While we were there we also visited Santa and Reagan dropped off the letter she wrote him.
(Dear Santa how many elves do you have? Me and Daryn would like music boxes please. We've been good. Love Reagan and Daryn) :)
Making gingerbread houses.
We made it over to Layton Park to see the lights display for the first time (I'm a little embarrassed, since we literally live 5 minutes from it) and we were so impressed. They were amazing!! Never missing it again. We had to bundle up very warm for the hay ride through the park. Maddie channeled her inner baby seal.
The girls were quite enthralled.
Afterwards we ate at Burger Stop (the ones running the hay ride) and Santa was there!
Random silly sisters playing.
I love this picture so much.
Christmas is color. Thousands of lights synchronized to music. Totally worth the drive to Kearns.
Maddie got to sit on my lap since you drive through at 5 mph.
Ogden Christmas Village! Another tradition.
Madelyn handled it quite well. She is a trooper.
Lights at Temple Square! Of course we couldn't miss this. We finally made it on the night of the 23rd.
Sledding. This was actually the day after Christmas. Madelyn's first time! She was not impressed. Maybe next year.
So much fun this month it wore us all out!
