The Smiths come to Layton

Since Sharon and Andrew and their girls were staying in Utah for a couple weeks after New Years, we laid claim to them for 2 days. First thing on the list: tubing in Park City on Wednesday afternoon!

The Texas girls were not intimidated at all by the cold and snow!

Love Abigail and Daryn chubby little bundled up faces so much.

Up we go!

Sweet little girls! Things got a little chaotic at times.

Especially since Abigail wasn't big enough to tube, so someone had to stay with her in the kiddie part. No complaints from her though! In fact, the other girls all took turns riding on the tube carousel and bunny hill with her at various times.

Eve and Reagan were tall enough to ride the biggest hills, so we all got a turn riding with them, too. I think they liked riding up even more than going down.

All the way up at the top.

The girls all got pretty chilly near the end and it was starting to get darkish, so we left just before our 2 hours were up.

And met Grace and Meagan at a restaurant nearby! It was nice to warm up and eat some yummy food and let these not-quite-all cousins hang out.

Thursday morning Reagan had dance, so we took all the other girls to the library next door to the studio for story time. Daryn and Eve got very into the snowman song.
And the parachute and snowflake craft.

Love these little sweeties so much! They just wanted to hang out by me :) (and/or Mom and Dad).

Back at home, the big girls had some tv time while the little girls napped.

Then it was time to hit the Syracuse Rush Funplex, with tons of stuff to do!

We spent a good chunk of time bowling, and still only finished half a game before we decided to move on. The girls were having a blast, though! It was kind of a team sport :).

Daryn loved, LOVED, watching the return spit the ball out. She would wait with baited breath, and then squeal and jump back every time.

We changed things up and spent some time in the bouncy house area, that also had little grocery store  type rides for the kids to ride. So fun!

And last but not least, blacklight go cart racing! This was pretty sweet- it was a lot of fun to zoom around in the dark!

Then we had to hurry home, to meet Sharon's college bff for dinner. So fun to get together with them! Especially with 3 pregnant girls and our various complaints :). Good thing our husbands love us.

Sharon and Andrew were supposed to stay that night, but decided to leave early because of expected snow. So later that night, we said our goodbyes. The next time we see them, we will both have another baby!

And just like that, it was back to normal life for us. Preschool groups, Chick Fil a, and building forts. The best parts of life!
