Lakes, Museums, Ice skating, Bikes, Dates, and Other Fun Things

We hiked/walked to Silver Lake a couple weeks ago. So beautiful and we had a great time "helping" Lance fish (which may have been why he didn't catch anything).

 Baby ducks!

The girls had some good times...

(This girl is so so silly)

And some not so good times...

We visited the Treehouse Museum.

And Reagan started ice skating lessons. The first one went...poorly... but I convinced to to give it another try and she did so great the second time! Only fell 3 times.

She also learned how to ride her new bike! How exciting! She can ride all the way down the street. Next lessons: braking and turning.

Reagan and  went on a date to see Inside Out. Loved it.

And the girls got a new room! We moved Daryn out of the crib and into Reagan's room, and did a little remodeling.

It was a little bit of a tight squeeze getting all the clothes fit, but we made it work, and the girls absolutely love it. So much so that they keep each other up all night... We're all adjusting :). So fun to see them growing up and growing together.

Pioneer Day at Lagoon

We decided July 24th was the perfect time for this year's trip to Lagoon! It was Daryn's very first, and we were all so excited. Had to start with the whale. Daryn got very enthusiastic very quickly.

 Teacup selfie!

I was surprised at the amount of non-kiddie rides Daryn could go on, even being teeny tiny. She loves this roller coaster:

These girls take their driving seriously.

Tilt a whirl with the littles. Those girls have iron stomachs!

View from the Ferris Wheel. We timed it perfectly and saw tons of fireworks because of the holiday!
Captured Daryn staring at the Ferris Wheel in awe as we waited.

I was also able to go in the single rider line and wait about 10 minutes (instead of 2+ hours) and go on Cannibal, the newest roller coaster! Soo fun! We stayed till closing (11 pm) and the girls were completely exhausted but it was so worth it - we all had a blast!

And of course, it wouldn't be Pioneer Day without a few fireworks and snaps.
