An extra fun week

We packed in a lot of quality family time in the last few days!

But first, another doctors visit. Not too exciting but these girls always make it silly.

After the doctors on Wednesday I took the girls to the fire safety fire. It was exhausting and crowded and we didn't have time for everything because it was a school night but we still had a great time.

We learned our lesson last year and got in line for the fire truck ride first thing!

Tiny adorable firefighters.

They saved the houses from the fire!

Front row seats for the helicopter landing!

Maddie loved it and waved and waved.

Checking out some sort weaponry.
 They come by it naturally.

Loves for Sparky!

On Friday, the girls didn't have school. Lance took a personal day from work and we had a Brunson Family Adventure Day! We left around 10 in the morning for our first stop: scones at Sill's Cafe.
 Num num num!

Then we drove down south to take a drive on the Alpine Loop! We were ready for some beautiful sights, and were not disappointed in the slightest.

So many gorgeous places to stop and get out!

We even saw a big old moose near the road!

This view on the way to Cascade Springs was one of the most beautiful things I have seen. So much red!

And Cascade Springs was just a fall paradise and the weather was perfect.

Maddie was fascinated by the water and kept doing this lean over hunch thing.

She always has to keep up with her sisters!

After finishing the Alpine Loop, we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls on our way to Provo.

The little girls were tired by the walk back. Good thing they have the best daddy ever!

And one of our final stops- the BYU Creamery for burgers and ice cream!

And afterwards a visit to a fun new park before the long drive home.

It was the perfect day and so great to spend it all together.

The next days were General Conference which are always such a treat (the parts we can hear, anyway...). Reagan watched a good chunk of the Womens Broadcast with me!

We bought this fun Disney puzzle and worked on it all weekend, finishing about halfway through the last session. Perfect way to keep little (and big!) hands busy!

So glad to be able to spend so much time with this sweet little family of mine :).

Big news for our family!

The Brunsons were in town for a visit a couple weeks ago, and their visit happened to coincide perfectly with the 15 week gender ultrasound Lance and I had planned. They watched the girls that afternoon during our appointment, then we went to dinner that night. We managed to keep it a secret for one day, because we had a little something planned for the next day.

We had cupcakes filled with the right color for the kids to eat (green on top for St Pattys Day).

And blue in the middle!

We can hardly believe a little brother is coming to our family! Things will definitely be different around here!

We're all so excited! Reagan actually started crying, just from being emotional. (I did, too.)

Gotta brush all the cupcake off, and look super cute while doing so!
