Brunson family pictures

As a Christmas present for Brent and Joy, we scheduled a photographer to come take updated family pictures. It was a rush session because we were pretty worried about the kids cooperating (it took less than 30 minutes and they were DONE by then), but they turned out so great! Even though Daryn was really sick that day and we had to get her up from a nap and walk out the door so her hair looks a little homeless.

The photographer snapped a couple maternity ones of me at the beginning while she was adjusting her camera. Not my absolute favorite because I feel like my pose is weird but still cute.

The whole fam!

I can't believe how cute these are but apparently Maddie doesn't smile?

Cutest kids ever!

The boys

and the girls. Baby will be the tiebreaker!

We love these siblings and their families!

Doesn't get better than this.

These kids are lucky to have such amazing grandparents!

And we're lucky to have each other.

Thanks to the ones that started it all!

2019 brought a lot of changes to the Brunson family but I think we're ready to move into 2020!

New Mexico

We left Denver on Saturday and drove to Lance's parents' house in New Mexico. Here we got to see all the Brunson cousins!

First thing, on Sunday evening, the kids put together a program. It was more entertaining than usual.

Everyone got in on the fun.

Then we had a little present exchange.

Shay kept us all entertained with impressive magic tricks during the whole week. Kids and adults alike were mesmerized.

Blade found lots of furry friends.

Daryn and Blade were sick off and on but she still found time to walk Wilson.

On New Years Eve, we took family pictures and then went out to eat.

Then had a little party back at the house!

Games, treats, and decorations. Happy New Year! We went to bed before midnight for the first time ever.

Because bright and early the next morning, Lance took Reagan skiing for the first time! She picked it up super fast and loved it.

While they were gone, I walked with the other kids to Mimi's house. No small feat but these kiddos were determined. It took a while.

Later that evening we celebrated Mimi's 89th birthday.

The next day was out last day and we went to a family fun center in town. It ended up not being super fun for our family because everyone was kind of cranky and Blade cried almost the entire time. There were a few fun things the girls loved, though.

This spinning upside down bumper cars were a huge hit, except when Daryn's started flipped uncontrollably and she freaked out.

Finish up with some arcade games and we were done. It was time to head home and we were all ready!

See you next time, Ruidoso!
