We spent the rest of the week wearing ourselves out with fun! 4 straight days of Disneyland!
Wednesday was...
Star Tours (and child swap- keeping kids busy in the gift shop)
Dumbo
Toontown, and meeting Mickey and Minnie!

Exploring the rest of Toontown.
Maddie didn't last long for that part- the excitement really wore her out.
But soon she was back at it!
I just have to say, I didn't have a lot of expectations for Maddie. Mostly a lot of riding in the stroller and maybe crying because of skipped naps. Bt she loved Disneyland, so much. Everything about it. She was enthralled. And she handled it really well. Super Disney baby over here!
After lunch, time for the much-anticipated it's a small world
After an exhausting morning, everyone was ready to ride the shuttle back to the hotel for a break!
Refreshed and back for more- it's the Pixar Play Parade at California Adventure!
Then back over to Disneyland. Still lots to do!
Tarzan's Treehouse- the girls somehow still had endless energy for running.
Winnie the Pooh- one of my favorites. Classic! The little girls rode about 5 more times later while child swapping Splash Mountain.
Then dinner at the Hungry Bear.
Tiki Room- everyone was definitely enchanted!
Last ride of the night- Splash Mountain! I have to say, Disneyland was way more fun this time around not being pregnant. So many great rides! I loves Halle's face (in the middle).

Thursday morning- we were starting to feel it! It was a little harder to get our girls out of bed that morning.
But it was our big day at California Adventure!
First order of business, all the little rides in Bug's Land!
Then over to the Hypernion to see the new Frozen production!
Monsters Inc, and then we sent the dads and little girls back to the hotel for a break.
While we did some big kids rides!
Grizzly Peak was a definite favorite.
Later that afternoon was Cars Land.
Radiator Springs Racers!
My first time and I loved it! Also my hair (in the back) went a little crazy.
The little girls got to ride the carousel about 6 times in a row while switching off. Maddie was loving it by this point, even waiting patiently in line. (Her sisters' souvenir bubble wand and the splashing fountain helped).
Mickey Wheel- a must do this time since it's one of the only things we missed last time.
After dinner, one last ride- Ariel's Undersea Adventure! We were worried because the line was soooo long but it moved so fast- really only about a 15-20 minute wait.
After that we found our seats for the World of Color show and held a makeshift kindergarten graduation. Eve and Reagan both missed theirs that week and we wanted to commemorate the occasion.

After the showed we dragged ourselves home, dead tired. It was a super fun, super long day doing almost every single ride there.
Friday- our last day!
We spent the morning in California Adventure. The building with the Frozen character was closed the day before due to a special event, plus we missed a couple rides, so we had to finish it out.

Shockingly (or not so much), Madelyn loved Olaf, and wouldn't go near the non-fully costumed characters.
Pure magic.
Then Turtle Talk, which was super fun and interactive.
And then we were part of the very first showing of the new Disney Jr Dance party (basically the whole reason we got park hopper passes- so we could go on Friday). Reagan wasn't too into dancing, but Daryn totally rocked it and it was such a fun show.
Then another stop by Redwood Creek Trail for the little kids- they could have stayed here all day.
And Golden Zephyr to wrap it up. You can see Abigail and tiny Maddie up front really loved this one!
Then straight back across to Disneyland. First stop- Tinkerbell! A big priority since we missed her a few times on the other days.
Friday was Abigail's birthday, so we took a break in the middle of the day to go swimming at the hotel and have a little party.
When we retuned to the park, we hit it's a small world one more time and the Mickey and the Magical Map show.
Finally caught the Storytellers Theatre play that we had also been barely missing all week. It was really stressing me out.
Casey Jr train!
Hyperspace Mountain was somewhere in there but I honestly don't remember when, only that Sharon was mad that I made her go and she hated it. Oops. I loved it!
I believe Alice in Wonderland was our last ride for the kids before we went to dinner, just to bookend it. Then we snagged some final pictures.
We were completely exhausted by this point but were hanging around for the fireworks show, which was only showing that night on our whole trip. While we ate and waited, Sharon and I did Indiana Jones and then Lance and Andrew did (it was closed the whole rest of our trip and most of that day for repairs, but finally reopened.) Anyway, in our exhaustion we somehow missed the announcement that the fireworks were cancelled, and we didn't realize it until 10 minutes into the stupid lights show on the castle. We booked it out of there immediately when we finally figured it out- the kids were kid of losing it at that point. One final stop on the way out- a picture in from of the Fortuosity Shop from The Happiest Millionaire- one of my and Sharon's favorite movies!
We dragged/limped our tired butts back the hotel and basically passed out. Next morning was the long drive home and boy we were glad to spend a day just vegging in the car. We ran ourselves into the ground (mostly the adults, the kids got lots of stroller time) but it was the best vacation ever!!! So grateful for the opportunity to spend so much time with family in such a magical place!
