Reagan's birthday was on Father's Day this year! Double the fun. Reagan and Lance went out for a nice dinner than evening to celebrate their joint holidays. I was just a little jealous.

And just look at this handsome father of five. He makes being a dad look good!
It was our turn to go to church (3 week cycle) so we were all dressed up. 45 minute church with masks is still better than nothing!
After church we drove by the temple site. Just a big pile of dirt so far!
When we got home we had a nice brunch (since it was only 10). Coffee cake with candles for Reagan to blow out! Lance opened his gifts, which included a new mitt, a water bottle that filters, and a little fire grill, as well as a matching t-shirt and socks with Blade.
I took this picture of Blade wearing Lance's shoes and wrote a cute poem on it. He looks up to his daddy so much!
Later that afternoon Meagan came, and it time for Reagan's presents. Her favorites were a sewing machine (which she has been using like crazy), a kids Leatherman, and the Anne of Green Gables movies.
Then a yummy steak dinner.
After much deliberation, they decided on no-bake Oreo cheesecake for dessert. It was so good and gone way too fast.
We had so much fun celebrating these two. My favorite peeps!
The next day, I asked Reagan to watch Dixie for a few minutes. She was so absorbed reading her new Harry Potter book, this is how I found them. Whatever works, I guess.
Some things about Reagan at 9 years old.
She is 54 inches tall (80th percentile) and weighs about 61 pounds (35th percentile). She wears size 8 shorts and size 10 tops. Size 13 shoes.
She is a great big sister, especially to her youngest siblings. She and Daryn clash quite a bit though (Reagan can be very bossy.) She is very talented and almost always rises to the challenge. She loves to cook, bake, read, play board games, sew, garden, do arts and crafts, skateboard, and ride her bike. She has so many hobbies and picks up new ones easily. She is athletic and loves to try almost every sport. She is such a great helper around the house and loves to help out with Dixie and Blade, including snuggling, changing diapers, and putting down for naps. She is intelligent and creative and stubborn and forgetful and determined and emotional. We are so impressed with the young lady she is turning into.
