Cruise Part II: Progresso, Mexico

Our first stop was in Progresso. Of course, we had to get some pictures of our beautiful boat.

Then we hopped on a bus and headed over to some Mayan ruins at Dzibilchaltun. They were really fascinating, even in the heat. We got to climb all over and explore them.

Afterwards,  we got to swim in the most beautiful sinkhole. The water was perfect and so clear!
It was a great day. I felt very cultured and only a little sunburned after.

Cruise Part I: On the Ship

Our cruise was FANTASTIC. Seriously. The best way to travel. I'm in love. And also fat. I'm too scared to step on the scale, but I'm positive I ate my way through at least 5 extra pounds. Going to the gym twice on the boat scarcely made up for it. We picked up some great sun, the food was to die for, and I could get used to several desserts after every meal. The service was great. The shows were hilarious and entertaining. (Except for the adult comedy. We made it about 5 minutes into that one. Apparently we aren't adults?) Here are all our pictures from our time on the boat. Of course, here are the loveable towel animals:
And one not so loveable. What the heck is this?:

Texas Part III: Reagan's Adventures

After meeting up with Lance's parents halfway to Houston, we got Reagan settled into their house and picked up Lance at the airport that evening. Saturday morning we drove down to Galveston for our cruise! More on that later. Reagan stayed very busy at her grandparents' house- she didn't even miss us once! In fact, when we came back, she was like "oh hey guys" but then when we went to get her up from her naps a few hours late she cried and reached for Joy! :( Lesson learned- never leave your children with someone who spoils them more than you do. Just kidding. Kind of. We were just glad to find her safe and sound (other than a couple scrapes) and in one piece and we're so grateful they took good care of her. I'm never leaving that girl again- I missed her so much! Here are some pictures from the 5 days we were gone- courtesy of Joy.

After we got back- with her new Mexican rattle! We got her a cloth dolly and a dress too :) It's fun to have someone to shop for and even better to have someone this cute to come home to.
