Happy girl :) When I was picking Reagan up from the babysitter's after my last doctor's appointment, she tripped on the cement steps and scraped up her whole face. After crying for a couple minutes, she decided it was worth smiling about.

 And blowing kisses in Sam's. 

This weekend was super busy, with an anniversary date on Friday (Melting Pot and a comedy club), Marissa's baby shower on Saturday, and then my parents being in town for a day.

Reagan was so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa! She even has the smiles to prove it, though you might not guess it...

This morning we went to the park to enjoy the last day of 70's for a little bit. Reagan was so excited for the slides she ran all the way there. 

 The merry-go-round was a big hit too.

30 weeks

Three quarters of the way through a pregnancy today! It's gone by pretty fast. Only two more months for me. On good days, like today, I think "Wow, only two more months!" On bad days, when I am tired and fussy, I think "Ugh, I can't believe I have two more months still..." It's a toss-up. Here's a couple pictures of the growing baby bump as of this afternoon:

The past couple weeks have been busy for us. Right after Easter, Reagan got her first stomach bug and threw up all over me and the couch. Luckily, it passed quickly.

We've been enjoying the warm weather and the rainy weather equally. 

    

 

We loved listening to General Conference last weekend, and Reagan loved climbing on the table to conduct the music every song. 

It was very comforting for us to hear from our leaders, and Elder Holland's talk especially hit home for us. What a blessing the gospel is to us.

Birthday Easter Weekend Part 2

Easter Sunday, Reagan woke up very excited to go find her Easter basket. Since we'd been talking about it all week, she knew all about the Easter Bunny, and how he was bringing her a basket of treats. In fact, she even got to meet him at her gymnastics class on Thursday, and she let him hold her and gave him a big hug and kiss. I was pretty impressed, because even I thought he was kind of creepy looking. And of course, I didn't have my phone for pictures. Anyway, she couldn't wait to see what the Easter Bunny left her.

 Then she helped Daddy find his Easter basket,

 We enjoyed a yummy breakfast together (very rare because Lance always has meetings early Sunday morning), and then it was time to get ready for church! Reagan has been waiting for weeks to wear this hat, and she would not take it off all day!

 After church, lunch, and a nap, it was time fore more festivities!

 Meagan and Grace came over, and the girls did another egg hunt and colored with Easter basket chalk while we finished getting dinner ready.

After Meagan and Grace left and Reagan got to bed, Lance and I just crashed. What a wonderful, exhausting weekend! Reagan and I took it easy all day on Monday to recover :). We are so grateful for Easter and the reminder that because of Christ, each of us will have perfected, resurrected bodies one day. It's a comforting thought.

Birthday Easter Weekend Part 1

This weekend was one big non-stop party! With my 24th birthday on Saturday and Easter on Sunday, we were booked solid with fun activities. Lance and I kicked things off with a date on Friday night. La Jolla Groves and the Salt Lake Temple. We were going to see a movie, but I was really craving the peace and comfort you can only find in the temple, so we changed plans, and I'm so glad we did. We had a wonderful time.

Saturday morning Lance and Reagan got up early and made homemade waffles for my birthday breakfast. So delicious and fluffy! Reagan was especially pleased. 

 Then I couldn't wait any longer- time for presents!

And a gorgeous crystal pitcher from Lance and Reagan to replace the wedding gift one that I broke shortly after we got married.

Then it was on to some Easter activities. First up, coloring eggs! We were willing to let Reagan help until she spilled the green dye everywhere, and then she got to watch from her high chair.

After lunch, we didn't waste anytime moving right on to birthday cake! I was very proud of how my angel food cake turned out- yummy!

After a nap for Reagan (and Lance) we drove over Heritage Park at the This is the Place monument. We went there for the petting zoo, but there was so much more I had no idea about! We will definitely be going back. Reagan couldn't pick a favorite between the train, 

 the baby animals,

- careful, don't squish!-

or the pony rides! All were a huge hit.

 We were sad to go, but we had to hurry to our next stop: Discovery Gateway Children's Museum!

We shopped,

 rode,

 rowed,

 splashed,

 built,

 and piloted until we dropped!

 By the time we left to go to Tucanos for dinner, Reagan was hungry, worn out, and over-stimulated enough that she had a mini meltdown.

 Luckily, it didn't last long!

 And there's nothing like some delicious food to make things better. By the time we finally left, it was almost Reagan's bedtime, and I thought for sure she would crash in the car. Luckily, we managed to keep her up by singing nursery rhymes all the way home, and she stayed happy and chipped until we could get her into the bath and bed. Lance and I were both exhausted by that point and wanted nothing more than to cuddle up, watch a redbox, and eat more cake, which is exactly what we did. The best ending to the best birthday ever. I'm glad I could spend the whole day having fun with the people I love most! I feel very spoiled :) 24 isn't so bad.
