Pie and St Patrick's Day

Even though actual National Pie Day is in January, we never say no to a reason to eat pie. Pi day (3/14) in style this year with mini pies.

And lemon meringue and banana cream for dessert! Yum....

And then straight into St Patricks Day. Maddie made this cute trap at school.

The girls spent hours the night before putting together a very elaborate set-up. Daryn made a trap of her own and listed off all the things she would buy when she got the leprechaun's gold. 

Reagan decided to go the nice route and just make a fun path/ride for him, in hopes he would leave her a treat.

And he did! We woke up to green footprint ALL over the walls, piles of gold candy for everyone, little leprechaun houses, and some green cotton candy sugar for Reagan! Which Blade and Dixie managed to spill as soon as the girls left for school. Sigh...

Blade was very prepared for this day.

Well, maybe a tie.

I took the kids on a walk. Little stinker won't sit in her stroller any more. Time to get serious with the buckles.
